Frequently asked questions
Are officially licensed Marshall University bedding sets worth the extra cost?
Yes, if you want exact team logos and colors that are less likely to fade. Licensed sets from Fanatics and Great Eastern are tested for durability and colorfastness, though some owners report fading after many washes if not washed cold.
What materials are best for temperature regulation?
Microfiber and cotton-blend sheets are breathable and moisture-wicking, making them good for hot sleepers. Fleece is warm but can trap heat, so look for micro fleece with cooling technology if you sleep hot.
How do I care for my Marshall University bedding to keep it looking new?
Wash in cold water on a gentle cycle and tumble dry low. Avoid bleach and fabric softeners, which can fade colors and reduce fabric integrity. Remove promptly to minimize wrinkles.
What size bedding should I get for a dorm room?
Most dorm mattresses are twin XL (39×80 inches). Look for sets that offer twin XL options or deep pockets up to 16 inches to accommodate thicker dorm mattresses. All our picks have deep pocket options.
Is microfiber or cotton better for allergy sufferers?
Microfiber is hypoallergenic and resists dust mites, making it a good choice for allergy sufferers. Cotton is also hypoallergenic if it's 100% organic or certified, but it may trap more allergens if not washed frequently.
The verdict
