Frequently asked questions
Are pineapple comforter sets machine washable?
Most pineapple comforter sets are machine washable on a gentle cycle with cold water. Always check the care label; many recommend tumble drying on low to maintain the fabric's softness and prevent shrinking.
What size comforter fits a king bed?
A standard king comforter measures about 104×90 inches, while a California king is slightly longer at 104×92 inches. Most sets labeled 'king' fit both sizes, but always verify dimensions before purchase.
Do pineapple comforters fade over time?
Some owners report fading after multiple washes, especially with bright yellow prints. To minimize fading, wash in cold water and avoid direct sunlight during drying. Choosing OEKO-TEX certified fabrics can also help.
What material is best for a pineapple comforter?
Microfiber is the most common, offering softness and durability at a reasonable price. Down alternative provides plushness for colder seasons. Look for OEKO-TEX or CertiPUR-US certifications for safety.
Can I use a duvet cover with a pineapple comforter?
Yes, you can use a duvet cover to protect the comforter and change the look. Ensure the cover matches the comforter's size. Many pineapple sets include matching shams, but not all are designed for covers.
